Passage #01 holds the distinction of being the first artwork to officially bear this title, marking the beginning of what I hope will be a long series. As I am just beginning to explore vinyl wrapping as a medium, I opted for simplicity in my approach. Additionally, I needed to create something that could be easily wrapped and, if necessary, repaired later. Therefore, I decided to wrap each block individually instead of attempting to wrap the entire outer ring in one go.
I also experimented with the concept of leaving certain 3D-printed blocks bare, aiming to create a contrast between the shiny vinyl surfaces and the rougher PLA textures. The initial results have been encouraging, to say the least.
