Introducing the "Instax Series" Project

In my artistic journey, I have explored various styles in both painting and art photography. In this exhibition, I've taken a step further by blending these diverse techniques into a cohesive new body of work. The centerpiece of this endeavor is the "Instax Series," crafted using the FUJI Instax SQ camera. Each artwork in this series is, at its core, a Polaroid photograph. My creative process varies with each piece, incorporating methods like overlaying Posca pen drawings on Polaroid photos and infusing each creation with a sense of fun and engagement. Additionally, I have designed unique frames for this series, producing them meticulously with a 3D printer.

About the Large Works "FREEDOM"

"FREEDOM" is a large-scale mosaic, composed of 99 Polaroid (Instax) photos. Its frame is an assembly of 137 parts, each printed with a 3D printer. The crafting of a entire frame for this piece requires around 150 hours of printing time.

About the Small Pieces "INSTANT X"

"INSTANT X" is a more intimate work, consisting of just 3 Polaroid (Instax) photos. The inspiration for this piece comes from the traditional structure of haiku poetry, with its distinctive 5-7-5 syllable pattern. Each photo in this triptych tells a unique, small story, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in their imagination and enjoy the narrative each image conveys.
